Apprenticeships combine work and study, leading to nationally recognised qualifications, offering a great mix of hands-on learning in the workplace and theory learned with us at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. They will provide you with relevant skills, behaviours, and knowledge you’ll need to thrive in the working world!
The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group offers apprenticeships from Level 2 to Level 5, within a wide range of industry areas. Durations are determined by the level and industry area but range from 1 to 4 years. College attendance varies dependent on the industry area, with taught elements being delivered both face-to-face and remotely, on a day release or block release basis. Some programmes require no college attendance (other than for exams) and are delivered in the workplace by a designated assessor.
We work with a variety of different employers, ranging from small to large, who offer great opportunities to ‘earn while you learn’. As an apprentice, you’ll work for an employer, and you will earn a wage. The minimum wage for an apprentice is £6.40 per hour. You can progress to a higher-level apprenticeship or to a university level course. There is wide-ranging support at College and in the workplace, with well-established safeguarding procedures. Why choose an Apprenticeship?
