“I chose an apprenticeship because it was important to me to earn whilst I learn. It has been really beneficial so far, I’ve learnt a lot of skills such as how to use different tools in the workplace that I wouldn’t have known beforehand. I think doing an apprenticeship is good because it eases you into working and introduces you to the industry rather than just education. I am always learning from the people I work with and enjoy being on the team. My classes at College are also enjoyable and I’m able to work with lots of different apprentices who come from different job roles and workplaces. In the future, I plan to progress to Level 4 Engineering and further to explore projects and contracts so that I can build experience in a range of areas.”
