“After studying A Levels at Wakefield College Sixth Form, I am going on to Leeds Beckett University to study a BSc in Psychology and hopefully go onto a Masters afterwards. I enjoyed studying Psychology as it's so interesting and it's relevant to everything around us; my favourite topics were addiction and schizophrenia which were really interesting to study. I’ve discovered that in the future I’d like to be a psychologist because of my interest in the subject. In Law, we got to visit the Leeds Crown Court where we learnt all about what lawyers do in the courts which was really interesting and helpful to learn about so that we could think about our futures. My advice for anyone taking A Levels is to make revision materials throughout the course so that you can be organised for all your exams at the end.”

“I came to Wakefield College after my brother recommended it after studying Science here. The tutors have been so nice and helpful and create engaging lessons so learning was always easy. If I ever felt like I needed extra support, I knew I could schedule in a one-to-one meeting with my tutors. I also got along with all my peers who really made my College experience. We get a lot of breaks and free periods at College so we have downtime from class to spend with friends and completing revision which I really enjoyed. I’ve become much more confident after studying here and have really developed my presentation skills and essay writing which will be helpful to have for my university degree.”
