“I decided to do the Photography course at Wakefield College because the curriculum was really interesting and covered a lot of bases such as art history. The College also has dark rooms and professional photography studios which are always open for students to use and my tutors have both worked in the industry so are experts in the field.”
“I really enjoy the research part of my course and being able to have full creative freedom with all my projects. I have been able to do a lot of street photography in Wakefield which is my passion. Outside of college, I have been able to work as a freelance photographer for weddings, using all the techniques I have learnt in the classroom in my professional work.”
“Besides the course content, we also did a progression project in class where we considered our plans after college. I’d personally love to go to University to do a degree in photojournalism and documentary photography as I like portraying the stories behind photos.”
