T Level Health student Nancy

“After watching TV shows like 24 Hours in A&E and Call the Midwife, I’ve always wanted to go into healthcare from a young age. The T Level in Health appealed to me because its more practical-based and that’s how I learn best. I’m at Pinderfields Hospital one day a week shadowing the nurses on the ward as part of my industry placement, which means I’m always learning new skills such as how to give patients bed baths. I’m also enjoying learning about the science behind healthcare in the classroom and then seeing how it’s applied in real-life scenarios on the ward. This experience is really valuable as one day I want to become a Midwife or a Paramedic.”
