“I chose to come to Wakefield College because it has lots of course options, is very accessible and they provide plenty of help and support. My favourite thing about my course is the practical exercises and class discussions. I have learnt lots about mental health, abuse and dementia so far on the course. All these topics will help me with my understanding in my future work environment. My plan after I finish this course, is to progress onto Level 3 Health & Social Care and then proceed to a workplace shortly after. There are a few careers I’d like to do in the future such as a psychologist, occupational therapist and a social worker.”
