Whether you want to study a university course either full-time or part-time, you are entitled to some form of financial support. At University Centre we believe that pricing people out of higher education would devalue our institution by not allowing such a diverse range of students to continue their education.
Full & Part-time
Our full-time tuition fees for 2024 of £6,950 will be substantially less than most universities. This means that, all our full-time higher education students will have significantly less to pay back once they have completed their studies and are in work. As fees for part-time courses vary, please refer to relevant course leaflets.

Student Hardship Support Fund
The Student Hardship Support Fund (SHSF) is provided by the University Centre to help students who have genuine and unavoidable financial difficulties and are struggling with their basic living costs despite having received all the financial support available to them.
The HSF is open to all normally registered students studying with us. There are some eligibility requirements for support, including having already taken out all of the statutory support for which you are eligible. You may also be asked to demonstrate that you made adequate realistic provision for your studies before embarking on your course. We understand that the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and national restrictions mean that many of our students are facing added financial difficulties. We have therefore substantially increased the funding available through the SHSF and have also made changes to the assessment criteria to make it easier to access.
All awards made from the SHSF are means-tested, which means that some applications will be unsuccessful. We can only assist in genuine cases where a student cannot meet basic expenditure from any other source. Any award granted will be paid as a non-repayable bursary into the student’s nominated bank account. Please note that the SHSF cannot be used to help with tuition fees.
