A Level students celebrating their results

Selby College is celebrating the fantastic achievements of its class of 2024, with its A Level programmes achieving an outstanding 99.5% pass rate.

Many of its students have secured places at Russell Group universities including the University of Leeds, the University of Manchester and the University of Newcastle, whilst some are heading on to prosperous careers in a range of industries.

15 out of 16 of its A Level programmes achieved a 100% pass rate including Art & Design, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Geography, History, Mathematics, Law, Psychology and more, with 39% of students securing high grades (A*/A/B).

This includes student Chloe Ma who achieved three A grades in Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths, and is going on to study Accountancy and Finance at the University of Leeds.

Chloe expressed how her A Level courses have prepared her for her next steps, stating: “I’ve learnt so many transferable skills which will help me in my future career in the business industry.”
