Mark was awarded the Business, Enterprise & Professional Apprentice of the Year Award at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group's Apprenticeship Awards 2024. Here's what he and his employer had to say about his nomination:
“I got to a stage in my life after covid and losing my mum where I wanted to find out what I wanted to do with my life and what makes me happy. I had always loved food and I wanted to try and really get into the industry. By doing an apprenticeship, it gave me that foothold into the hospitality industry.”
