You will also learn about the inner workings of the games industry, human computer interfaces and games platforms, as well as being visited by a number of guest speakers from both industry and Higher Education.
What You Will Study
You will study a variety of units that are taught as projects, each project will involve making your own game using industry standard software such as the Unity engine.

- How You Will Be Assessed
You will be assessed through assignments and practical project work that count towards your final grade. Your tutor will provide regular feedback and maintain a record of assessment. All student work may be externally verified.
- Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs at Grade 9-3, including English and Maths.
OR
A relevant Level 1 qualification at Merit Grade, plus Entry 3 English and Maths. - Further Study
On completion with the appropriate pass and English and Maths grades, you can progress through the levels.
You could progress onto higher education courses in Computer Games Design or Development, Animation, Digital Graphics, Web Design and Multimedia.
