Course Overview
This course can either be studied at Castleford College or Selby College.
This 9-week rail engineering programme; delivered in partnership with Rail Futures, is suitable for adults who are currently unemployed or seeking employment.
What You Will Study
Qualifications and competencies that can be achieved:
- City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Rail Engineering Track Maintenance
- City & guilds Level 2 Certificate in Rail Engineering underpinning knowledge
- Personal Track Safety (PTS)
- Track Induction (TIC)
- Hand tools/small plant training
- Manual handling
- Emergency first aid
- Safety awareness
- Fire awareness
