Last week seven of our students represented Wakefield College at the AoC Sport, regional Volleyball tournament. After regularly attending the Wednesday afternoon (PEEP) Volleyball session’s the students were selected to go to New College Pontefract to compete against other College teams from the region, including Shipley and John Leggott College.
The students who study in a range of areas were undefeated in their group as they made their way to the final against Notre Dame, where they came out as regional winners. The group will now move on to compete in the AoC National Finals in Nottingham, 21st – 24th April.
