“I chose to study a T Level in Engineering at Castleford College because it seemed like the perfect blend of everything I wanted to do and I wanted to gain practical experience.
I’m enjoying the industry placement as you get to see a lot, which is giving me a window into the industry. Rather than just going straight into one area, you get to see how everything works and then you can choose what you want to go into, which will help me make a better decision about my future.
The support from Drax and the College has been really good and they help you with anything you want to know or will answer any questions you have. Drax has taught me a lot about their apprenticeships including how I can sign up for them and what they involve, as I plan to study an apprenticeship after completing my T Level course.”
