Course Overview
This course can either be studied at Wakefield College or Selby College.
Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind. You will be introduced to some basic ideas from different approaches within psychology, for example, cognitive and biological approaches to the understanding of behaviour. You will explore concepts such as gender, aggression and consumer habits. You will learn how to apply psychology to real life situations and conduct your own research.
Please note: Whilst this course sits within our A Level provision and can be taken alongside other A Levels, the qualification you will gain at the end of the programme is a Pearson Level 3 BTEC Extended Certificate, rather than an A Level.
