What You Will Study
The course comprises of core compulsory units of Engineering, Maths and Engineering Science, plus six other units containing both mechanical and electronic/electrical knowledge.
During this course, you will also gain a sound knowledge and understanding of the engineering sector whilst developing research, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities which are essential employability skills for work within this field.
- Attendance Expectations
One day per week.
- How You Will Be Assessed
You will be assessed by a selection of practical skills-based tests, assignments and workplace projects.
- Entry Requirements
GCSEs at Grade 9-4 in English and Maths.
OR
Level 4 HNC in General Engineering or similar discipline.
AND
Two satisfactory references.
