Our courses include a substantial amount of work placement experience in various types of childcare provision, helping you to choose a progression route within the area which interests you most. The department has close connections with local schools and local and national health care providers, creating fantastic placement opportunities for students, including Pinderfields Hospital.
Our staff are highly qualified and have industry experience. We also have dedicated staff who visit and assess the students on placements. We help our students secure work placements that provide essential learning and development on these courses. We have great resources available to the students to help them with their learning whilst also allowing them to develop their own independence.
