Course Overview
Our Level 3 courses are designed to give learners the UCAS points needed to progress to university. The courses are fully online courses, where you can access the course materials and assessments 24 hours a day. The course takes 6-12 months to complete.What You Will Study
Throughout this course you study 18 units over different subject areas including Biology and Chemistry. Some of the units are:
- Cell Division and Genetic Variation
- Nutrition and Digestion
- Chemistry of Drugs and Medicine
- Chemistry of Pollution
- Attendance Expectations
There is no on-site attendance required, though students are expected to undertake 10-15 hours study per week. With 1:1 tutorials available.
- How You Will Be Assessed
You will be assessed through a variety of different methods, including written essays, presentations and timed control assessments.
- Entry Requirements
GCSE Grade 9-4 in English and Maths.
GCSE Grade 9-4 in Science would be beneficial.
- Fee Information
There is funding available for this course, subject to previous qualifications, if you are not eligible for funding the course can be funded via the Advanced Learner Loan.

Upon success completion of this course this will allow students to progress to many different university courses including:
- Biochemistry
- Biomedical Science
- Higher Level Apprenticeships
