Entry 3 Essential Digital Skills

Course Overview

This course is designed to give the confidence to use digital skills in everyday life. Such as how to create files, use emails and stay safe online.

What You Will Study

Learn how to:

  • Use digital skills to handle information, including how to create, find and organise files
  • Create and edit digital content using different applications to enter, edit, format, enhance and save work
  • Use digital skills to communicate through email and other forms of online communication suitable for different purposes
  • Work online and use digital devices safely and responsibly including the storing of personal and sensitive data and being able to identify risks and threats
  • Identify and solve common technical problems whilst being able to identify sources of help when needed

 

  • Attendance Expectations

    This is a fully online course, no in college attendance is required.

  • How You Will Be Assessed

    You will be assessed through a variety of short interactive tasks that will continue to develop your digital skills.

  • Entry Requirements

    To be able to study this course you would need to undertake a Digital Skills assessment with one of the team.

  • Fee Information

    Funding available subject to post code.

  • Further Study

    Upon completion of this course, you can progress to Level 1 Essential Digital Skills.
