Opportunity to work for a multi award winning family run cheesemonger in the heart of Yorkshire. We are offering an apprentice the opportunity to learn about the provenance of Yorkshire & British produce. You’ll gain new skills such as food safety, cheese blending & contract cutting for world famous sporting stadiums. Every day is varied.
Apprenticeship summary
What will the apprentice be doing?
Cryer & Stott produce their own branded cheese two days a week so the apprentice will learn the art of cheese blending & create new & exciting recipes.
Other jobs include:
- Preparing orders
- Contract cutting for sporting stadiums
- Ensuring we are adhering to our legal food safety obligations
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Training will be delivered in the workplace by The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
