At Selby College, besides A Level Mathematics, we also offer Further Mathematics and Core Maths – ensuring our students have the option to enhance their learning further. Science subjects can either be taken as A Levels or a BTEC and are taught in our well-equipped and modern labs.
Maths and Science are considered ‘facilitating subjects’ and are highly regarded by both universities and employers where they require a high level of mathematical, statistical, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Our A Level class of 2024 had a 99.5% pass rate with every Science subject and Maths achieving 100%! Our Sixth Form Centre has a library and plenty of study space for students to work independently in. We have state-of-the-art facilities including our modern Science labs.
