Production Chef Apprentice

We are offering a great opportunity for someone just starting out on their catering journey to come work with fresh food in a fast paced and service focused environment. Our team of experienced chefs will be able to mentor and assist the lucky applicant with their studies and development.

Apprenticeship summary

What will the apprentice be doing?

• Food Preparation  
• Daily Cleaning of Kitchen Sections  
• Assist with preparation of afternoon teas  
• Assist with pot washing when required 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• The apprentice will work towards a L2 Production Chef apprenticeship 
• Training will be delivered by the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group in the workplace 
• Functional skills in English and maths if required 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.

Things to consider

The role does require some heavy lifting and being on your feet for long durations.
